Flip and Write your way to the best combinations of fields, gardens, mills, farms and manors. But be careful! After each time you ‘write’, you hand your polder to the player on your left.

Hoe speel je het spel?

In Polders: Flip Write, players will do their best to draw a diverse landscape. Because you have to pass your board after each turn, you can choose to draw something favorable for yourself, or to annoy your opponents. You always play with your own color and this way you can easily recognize your own landscape on the polders. Each round three cards are revealed, of which everyone is allowed to play one card on the polder in front of them at that moment. Multiple people may choose the same card. These cards contain shapes that you can draw. Throughout the game, assignment cards are also revealed that will give you bonus points at the end of the game. So take this into account as well.

Polders: Flip Write is a very entertaining game with a welcome twist on the flip write (and roll write) genre. Players continuously pass their polders to the next player and therefore you always get in each other's way. Your own plan is not a certainty. That farm you wanted to build, another player can easily (and consciously) take your nice spot. Polders is very pleasant for this reason. During your first game, the scoring can be overwhelming (this will go a lot faster in subsequent games), but the included scoring board makes it easy to keep track of your points. Because of the different assignment cards, different shapes to draw and different polders, there is enough variation in the game. -Dice Daniel
