Three Dutch game companies join forces and continue together under the name Jolly Dutch.
Formula Games and The Gamefantry will transfer their games and activities to Jolly Dutch.
The owners of Formula Games, Alon Nir and of The Gamefantry, Paul Gigengack become co-owners of Jolly Dutch.
With this merger, Jolly Dutch increases its games assortment by almost 50% and makes great strides in the international network of this Dutch brand.
Founders Alexander and Arnold: “With this step, we give the growth of Jolly Dutch a huge boost. With Alon and Paul’s expertise and experience, we can make great strides. Our dream of getting a Jolly game in every home is fast approaching with this.” In addition to Alon and Paul, Jolly Dutch art director Vicky Trouerbach joins as co-owner of the company: “Over the past few years, I have worked passionately to build our strong line of games and market the Jolly Club subscription. Becoming co-owner allows me to strengthen my focus on design and the brand.” With the card game concept Jolly Club, Jolly Dutch has found a gap in the market in terms of concept and productions for foreign publishers.
Besides the six new card games and a medium game, new life will soon be breathed into Chartered (Building Amsterdam).
Also, the announcement of yet another major game will be made at Spiel 2024.
Lots of great things to look forward to.
